Disciplinary
When investigations lead to a disciplinary hearing, you’ll need to appoint an independent and impartial Disciplinary Officer.
Their role is to Chair the Disciplinary hearing, which includes reviewing the investigation pack, hearing a respondent’s version of events, and determining the outcome. This process brings with it a whole load of legal requirements and can be a minefield to navigate. Getting it wrong can be costly.
We can help you through the challenges of disciplinaries and beyond; taking a coaching approach to help you from start to end, including the paperwork. You can appoint us to carry out this role, or alternatively if you appoint a manager in-house to undertake this role, we can provide them with advice & guidance on employment law, process, and best practice during the disciplinary.
We’re experienced in complex casework and will support the disciplinary fairly and thoroughly.
We’ll get to the bottom of issues, put recommendations in place to avoid future issues, and can support you to deliver on any actions.
If a referral to a professional body needs to be made, we’ll help you with that too. Let us do what we do best and get you through the tough times. We’re professional, pragmatic, and supportive, to everyone involved.
